RESERVATION AND PAYMENT POLICY

 

Important: This policy is an integral part of the Service Agreement and Booking Conditions of Sail Boat Trips & San Blas Catamarans.

Payment of the advance payment implies full, express and irrevocable acceptance of both documents.

 

1. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

To confirm a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total charter value is required.
The remaining balance must be paid 10 days before boarding, by bank transfer or in cash on the day of check-in.

Accepted payment methods:

• Local or international bank transfers (Panama, USA, EU)

• Wise

• Cash

• Credit card (5% surcharge)

• Bitcoin

 

2. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

• In case of cancellation by the client, no monetary refunds will be issued.

• The amount paid will remain as a credit for the client, usable within 12 months following the original boarding date, subject to availability and possible fare adjustments.

• If the service cannot be provided due to reasons beyond the Agency's control (weather conditions, force majeure, government regulations, breakdowns, etc.), the same policy will apply: the payment will be kept as a credit to reschedule the experience within the same period.

 

3. CHILDREN POLICY

Children are welcome on board.

Rates for minors may vary depending on the boat, but in most cases the following general conditions apply:

• Children up to 3 years old: free of charge

• Children between 3 and 7 years old: 50% of the adult price

• Children over 8 years old: full fare

 

4. SEASONS AND SURCHARGES

During the Christmas, New Year's, Carnival, and Easter periods, a 20% surcharge will be applied to the total reservation rate.

 

5. SCHEDULE AND ONBOARD RULES

• Check-in: 9:30 a.m.

• Check-out: 7:00 a.m.

• (Check-out can be extended until 3:00 p.m. with a 50% surcharge on the daily rate, subject to availability.)

• Smoking is permitted only on the aft deck.

• Electricity and fresh water are limited resources on board and must be used responsibly.

 

6. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

• It is recommended to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations, delays, or unforeseen events.

• Please check the entry requirements for the Guna Yala region before your trip (documents, tolls, transportation, etc.).

• By confirming the reservation, the client declares that they have read and accepted this policy and the Service Agreement and Booking Conditions.
